I always thought peppermint was the superior mint, but I might actually like this more. I've only had spearmint in blends before. It's strong and fresh and energizing, without the sharpness of peppermint.

The citrus and cinnamon really come out to me, not at all overwhelming but very warming and complimentary. Smooth and totally delicious, even in July.

The cinnamon tastes sort of artificial. I was hoping for a nice, warm, spicy sort of cinnamon. It tastes like cinnamon, but without the layers that make cinnamon interesting. Still good in blends, but mostly as a supplement rather than a primary flavor, I think.

Lovely, lush rose flavor on a flavorful base. It tastes like summer in the Portland International Rose Test Garden! This tea is good on its own, but I always blend it with other flavors. Cream, chai, jasmine, earl gray, chrysanthemums, the possibilities are endless. I love this fruity-floral flavor.

Smooth and light, with a lingering dry aftertaste. It has a good balance of peach flavor that is pleasant and noticeable without covering the white tea completely. This tea is delicious hot and cold!

White chai seems like a strange idea, because the other flavors would necessarily overwhelm the white tea. I still wonder at the name of this blend because there's so little white tea at all... but what matters most is that it's tasty! This is bright, zesty tea. Peppery-spicy, rounded out with sweet, fruity flavors and rich lemongrass. For me, this is a great night time low-caf pick-me-up.

Strong and smooth, this is a good introductory black tea and I think its flavor and mild astringency would appeal to coffee-drinkers. I was expecting it to be more complex, especially as a Fujian tea. It has nice earthy, cocoa-y notes, but I prefer the sweetness and fragrance of Black Dragon Pearls.

A rich, warming, caffeine-free chai! The earthy tones of rooibos make it a perfect base for warming spices. Vanilla rounds it all out. Now I can have tasty chai at night. I added this to my purchase on a whim and got sick shortly thereafter--perfect timing, I guess, because this is a perfect sick tea too.

I don't care much for this tea on its own, but it's great for blending with other teas and herbals. This mild, sweet, smooth tea makes a great base for mixing just about any other flavor.

Delicious. Flavorful and fragrant, bright and floral, yet with a kind of dark richness... somehow it tastes like rain.

There's something about pearl teas. I always love them. Jasmine pearls, black dragon pearls, anything pearls. This one isn't my favorite, but it's good. The first infusion is delicate and floral as the tea unfurls. the second is stronger but still light and refreshing.

It's peppermint! Strong, yet light and clean. It doesn't leave my mouth feeling as dry as bagged peppermint does. Perfect.

The smell in the bag is enchanting, but unfortunately the flavor isn't as strong. This tea is pleasantly smooth and sweet, but I wished for more spice. It could be stronger without overwhelming the pu erh.

What an interesting blend! It has a surprisingly apricot-y smell and taste, without being overbearing. The Wuyi mineral taste, which drew me to this tea, is also very strong, much stronger than I expected, and pleasingly so. It comes through very clear after the initial flavors of the Yunnan tea. Flavorful, earthy, and complex.

A solid white tea, very light and soothing, with a bit of a fruity taste. The leaves have a hint of peach smell. Not my choice of white tea, though--I prefer the complexity of White Symphony.

Green rooibos has such a great flavor--none of the dryness of its red counterpart, very smooth and mild but still distinct. The lemon flavor in this was surprisingly gentle to me, but pleasantly so, and the other fruit flavors round it out and give it just enough sweetness. Overall the flavor kind of reminds me of coconut. This is a nice light, summery herbal, and I can see what all the hype is about.

Lovely flavor, smooth and clean, especially on the second steeping. Soft like Sleeping Dragon, too. It's almost as light as white tea, but the flavor is a little more robust yet less grassy, and smoky like Gunpowder. Perfect for later in the day.

Earthy Yunnan tea with hints of cocoa? It sounds like my kind of black tea. It smells like it, too. just by opening the bag I'm entranced by the cocoa scent. It's more subtle when brewed, but it brews so rich and smooth with no astringency. A bit of a dry finish, but it lingers. I'm in love. I usually use three pearls per cup because I like it strong. Mmm.

I wish the jasmine scent were as strong once brewed, but the flavor stays nice and strong. It has a light and pleasant perfume, and the tea is light and sweet but not too much. I really am a fan of deep, perfumy jasmine teas, and I love pearls because the flavor tends to last, and sometimes I just put the pearls straight in the cup and leave them there. This jasmine lingers soothingly on your tongue. It's beautiful.

I bought this for a friend, and she says: 'Oh wow I really love this a lot. It has a deep, woodsy taste that is really great for cold days. The warmth of it settles into your bones and it's lovely. '

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She says: Smooth, warm and with an unusually creamy flavor to match its citrus. The lemongrass is a little strong, but overall this blends the strong rooibos and matches it in its robust flavor.

A great traditional chai. Personally I prefer green chai, but I like to brew this one with milk in a pan and add cocoa powder--chai hot chocolate! I'll have to try the rooibos vanilla version for an evening cup.

I was also drawn to Cha Cha as a potential loose-leaf substitute for Sleepytime. I was surprised by the amount of lemongrass in this blend. Combined with chamomile and just a hint of mint, the overall taste is sort of medicinal. I'm not sure about this as a bedtime tea, but I've found that it's great for when I'm feeling anxious. I might keep this one around just for that.

I love cocoa powder, and it pairs well with the sweet, nutty honeybush. Still, I think it may be just a bit too sweet for me.

A nice combo of green and mint flavors, though I would like more chocolate. The aroma is lovely and it tastes like dessert, but not quite as satisfying. A dash of cocoa powder or chocolate chips might help balance out the sweetness.

I bought a sample of this on a whim because I love oolongs, especially darker varieties. This one tastes a lot like black tea, but richer and much less astringent. Smooth and earthy/fruity with a nice lingering aftertaste. The aroma reminds me of Oriental Beauty. Personally I'm not a great fan of black tea, so this isn't quite my cup, but it's an interesting experience and very much worth a try if you're a fan of black teas and earthy flavors.

Tastes just as stated in the description. A little smoky, but not overwhelmingly so. Smooth yet crisp in the end. I enjoy Gunpowder, but I enjoy grassier green teas more, so this tea is a very happy medium.

Perfect size for some of the teas I have in smaller quantities, and also for great for the teas I have a lot of--I can keep most of it safe in the bag, and use these to keep a small amount for easy access. They feel solidly built, I love the clear tops, and the colors are nice.

I chose a free sample of this because it sounded so interesting! I love jasmine paired with earthy teas, and so this combination is perfect to me. I actually find the smell almost too pungent and cloying, even more perfume-y than some jasmine pearls, but the flavors blend together beautifully. A wonderful alternative to caffeinated greens, too.

This is a beautiful pot with a roomy, fine-holed infuser and a perfect size for just one or two cups. It's also surprisingly durable. I knocked it against sinks and counters for months before it got a crack, and the crack hasn't grown or leaked since then. Beyond simply brewing tea, though, it has a few flaws. The lid doesn't have a steam vent, so the pot gets plugged up easily. The lid also slips easily. After the second one fell and broke, I gave up. (Then you have to hold the infuser to keep it from slipping sometimes, or if you want to take it out, and it gets hot.) It is quite pretty though, and especially considering that I got the pot on sale, it's been well worth the price. I love being able to watch teas unfurl (bonus of not having a lid). When it breaks, though, I'll probably find a different pot to use.

This is a beautiful tea... it tastes like silver needle--smooth, light, and a little grassy--but is more complex. Richer, and a little sweeter. Fruitier on the second steeping. I actually like this more than silver needle, and for the price, I believe this is a tea I will be buying in large bags. This quickly became one of my everyday teas, especially for evenings.

This is my favorite oolong from Adagio so far. The name suits it perfectly. It has a wonderfully clean, crisp taste that reminds me of the sharp, ionic smell of the air before a rain shower. Very refreshing. I will be buying lots of this in the future.

This is one of my favorite teas to drink in the morning. I don't find the flavor very impressive when it's still hot, but once it becomes simply warm it becomes very smooth and rather savory. Other oolongs are better, but this is a very good basic oolong.

I thought regular Silver Needle was good. With Jasmine, it's fantastic. The delicate flavors compliment each other very well, slightly grassy and slightly floral but neither flavor is overwhelming. Perfectly balanced. I think this will be a staple.

Just like what I've had in Japanese restaurants, but a little smoother and cleaner-tasting, as per the description. A perfect sencha, a little bitter, and very refreshing. Good hot, warm, or cold. There's definitely a light seaweed quality to the taste, which I personally love, but it could be an acquired taste for some.

This was my first real venture with white tea, and this may now be among my favorite teas yet. Pleasantly sweet, very smooth, and mild but not weak. It was surprisingly savory, in fact. The first time I think I didn't let the water get quite hot enough (maybe 160°-ish) because it was a little on the weak side, so I resteeped the leaves with hotter water and it was much better. Probably could have steeped them again. Will definitely repurchase.
